The House of Rock, a community leader and local beer joint/haunt brings it on the first Wednesday of July 2010 with two happenings. First, the official kickoff for Joe Hilliard and the Corpus Christi Film Society's CC7D. this event which is open to everyone is a competition to see who can make the best short film in 7 days while fulfilling the contest's guidelines of a required prop, character and line in the movie. The rules are created to insure that the short flick be truly created after the kick off party.
